Stainless Steel 316/316L Seamless Tubing is composed primarily of iron, chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), and molybdenum (2–3%). The molybdenum content enhances resistance to corrosion in harsh and chloride-containing environments. Grade 316L has lower carbon content, improving weldability and minimizing sensitization. Typical tensile strength ranges from 515–690 MPa, with yield strength of approximately 205–275 MPa. Seamless construction eliminates weld seams, ensuring consistent wall thickness, excellent mechanical integrity, and reliable performance under pressure and temperature variations.
