This grade offers moderate tensile strength in the annealed condition and significantly higher strength when cold worked. Typical tensile strength ranges from 515–930 MPa, with yield strength of approximately 205–410 MPa, depending on processing. 301 pipes maintain good ductility, toughness, and resistance to oxidation, making them suitable for applications requiring strength combined with formability and fatigue resistance.
