Stainless Steel 347/347H Seamless Tubing is austenitic stainless steel composed mainly of iron, chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–13%), and niobium (columbium) for stabilization. The niobium prevents carbide precipitation, improving resistance to intergranular corrosion. Grade 347H contains higher carbon content, enhancing tensile strength and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. Typical tensile strength ranges from 515–700 MPa, with yield strength of 205–310 MPa. Seamless construction eliminates weld joints, ensuring uniform mechanical properties, excellent pressure resistance, and dependable performance under thermal and mechanical stress.
